I am such a simple stamper. Getting all inky and creative looks fun, but when it comes down to doing it, it just isn’t in me. Perhaps I’m intimated and/or a perfectionist. ;) So imagine my delight when I see something like this from Jessica using KBS stamps. gasp! Aren’t these just beautiful???

 

 

 

 

Hi crafty friends! Jessica here to share some 3×4 cards that I made on watercolor paper using the new Grateful stamp set. It is such a gorgeous stamp set so make sure you pick up one for yourself and let me know if you try making some watercolor cards similar to what I have done here. 

I used a variety of Distress Oxides and Shimmer’s sprays to get the backgrounds on my colored cards. I then stamped the smaller leaf all over the upper left card in Mustard Seed Oxide. The pattern is very subtle, but it is there and I love how it turned out.

The card on the lower left has the larger leaf stamp in Aged Mahogany and Mustard Seed. And then I stamped the “Family” and “I can’t believe I’m related to these people” saying in the Aged Mahogany as well.

For the 2 white cards I used the leaf stamps and added multiple colors on each stamp to get the fun mix of leaves. I finished off the upper left card by stamping “Grateful” in multiple colors as well. I hope that you will give these techniques a try! Xx, Jessica
