It’s one of the things I love about this time of year as color begins to emerge. It’s so refreshing as new life comes forth. So when I take a look at this non-spring-but-beautifully-color-curated spread from Nancy, I just sigh and dream of anything but white (aka, snow). It’s just so fresh and lovely!

 

 

Creating a clustered title is one of my favorite ways to start a page design. Open Heart is perfect to start layering an interesting title. These stacks of open font words lends just enough boldness without overpowering the design.

To begin, I started with colorful blue number 3 stamped with Madeleine Numbers Jumbo. Next I lined up the “Love Your Guts” so that it slightly overlapped the 3. I love how the blue peeks through this open font. To tie it all together, I used “Scenes from the Day” from the new Candid stamp set. I was looking for a clean font with lots of space between the letters and this sentiment delivered. Just under the clear envelope, I used the Candid stamp set again to add a punch of green right in the middle with “captured time”.

 

 

On the right side, just under the polaroid photo I added a simple line of text in black from the For Today stamp set. I love these simple, clean sentiments for just underneath photos. I use them all the time. These are a collection of my favorite stamp sets released this month. There are always such great iconic fonts and styles that make these a staple in my stamp collection.
