Goodness. That sounds dreamy, right? (Unless you’re a homebody. ;) ) I love getting out to see and explore new places. It could be a three hours’ drive, a ten hours’ drive, or a days’ flight away to a whole other country. I just love seeing what is out there.

Hence, the new Far From Home stamp set. I (we?) need something to help document these travels, right? And Nancy has an amazing spread documenting her own travels to Hawaii. Soooo dig all the little stamp phrases she included!

 

 

The minute I saw this new stamp set, I knew I wanted to use the bold and chunky “Far From Home” title. It reminded me of this picture that I took on the plane as we were leaving Hawaii last summer. I knew that the new Far From Home stamp set was perfect for telling this story. 

 

I love that this set includes so many different font types and sizes. I used the “Good Times Were Had” on the right side of the page. The open letters offset the heaviness of the main title on the left side. I layered the “airplane mode” to the top for contrast in size. I used four more stamped sentiments to add text to the right side of my page. I didn’t have any other journaling for these spots, so the stamp set was perfect for adding to the story without having to write (or type) it out.

I know that a stamp set is must when it’s this versatile and can create so many looks. This one is a keeper!
