That’s just what I’m thinking about at the moment with the July stamps–what a wonderful world. Granted, there’s only a couple out-there-in-the-world-related stamp sets, but I just can’t help thinking about being ‘out there’ and all that it means.

So let me introduce to you the July stamps: I Love Washington, This Place Though, Pine, Pine XL, Plain Pine and Plain Pine XL.

 

 

Here’s a little story about the Pine stamps. I’d originally made the Pine and Pine XL as their own stand-alone stamp. I had no intentions of doing anything else.

 

 

But then a few weeks later, I decided I wanted a wider staple alphabet than the District stamps and it seemed silly to not use the same font as the original two Pines so it could double for the insides. Brilliant, right? ;) The Plain Pines were supposed to come out next month. But since I had them in-house, it only seemed fitting to make them available together in this release.

And now you know. :)

Our next set is I Love Washington, because…oh boy…do I love Washington! I’ve been there a couple times over the years–as a teenager and once when the kids were younger–and I tell you what, there’s never enough time to experience it all. Such a gorgeous state! Hubs and I took a rather spontaneous trip there in May and my word for the entire trip was beautiful. Hikes. Exploring. Eating. All of it. I need to get back there soon.

In the meantime, here’s a couple examples using the set. Hopefully I get to use them again soon…because it will be happening. :)

 

 

For portability’s sake, rather than having this very full set on a 6×8 sheet, it’s been put onto a 3×4 and 4×6 format. So much easier to take with you on your travels!

 

 

Next Up is  This Place Though. I find myself thinking that when I’m out in nature or some place special. There’s a lot of phrases here for being at the beach or lake or mountains…drinking in the beauty and gratitude of getting to be in said place.
