There’s a reason why I named a Washington-themed stamp, I Love Washington. If you’ve been there, you know what I’m talking about. What an amazing place! I can’t tell you how many photos I took…and now need documenting. ;)

Perhaps I shall steal this fabulous page idea from Miss Julie of her trip to Seattle. Love how she incorporated the Washington set with the Pine alphabet. Simply wonderful!

 

 

Having lived in Alaska for about 20 years, Seattle was a frequent stop whenever we’d travel and the quickest destination whenever we needed a break from the cold. When Kerri shared this I Love Washington release, I immediately began digging through older photos because I knew I had a TON that would work with these new stamps. This girls’ trip from 2006 had never made it into our family album, so I reverted back to a size of layout I haven’t worked with in YEARS and went to work. 

I don’t know about you, but once I start digging through old photos and albums, I’m a goner. ;) One thing I can confidently say is that the SIMPLE pages are standing the test of time for me. I look back on them and still love them. Photos + stamps + story is a format that speaks to me, so I kept this page clean and simple. KBS designs are so classic… I love working them into my current creative journal and now I’m busy sprinkling them throughout my older pages, too!
