It’s a One Day Monday Summer Snippet Freebie kind of day and this one just makes me happy. Like, how’s about adding a splash of color to your stories using this rainbow of Journaling Blocks?  My thought for these were to write on them, but when I went to make this Swim/Mac page with a block, somehow a title popped on there with some other stamps instead. ;)

 

 

Since I was working with a smaller-scaled page, I printed these at 90% instead. The Plain Pine stamps were perfect inside that block! I added a date from Today’s Date above and a phrase–and sun–from a new set coming next month. The ‘Pull’ comes from Open This. The letters for mac come from the there’s-only-like-four-left Thick XL stamps. There was a special re-release of these, but that’s all that’s left.

Now here’s where I really come to regret adhering covers to my A6 Plain Notebooks vs. taking out the staples like I always do. Stamping mac where it needed to be stamped just didn’t work, so I had to stamp it on a piece of paper and adhere it over the mistake.

For years I have removed the staples from my travelers notebooks because it makes stamping so much easier! I can pull the individual page and lay it all out smooth-like. Luckily I only put covers on April-August. When September comes I won’t be adhering a cover until the album is done. Well, I guess I can trim one down like I usually do, but I won’t be adhering it.

I managed to do both left and right pages this past weekend and shared the Fourth of July one yesterday on social media. So now here it is in its official blog space. :)

We celebrated the 4th the day before, so this day was super low-key. I used a phrase from the timeless–and almost gone forever–Fourth of July stamps. I added a star border from Along Those Lines and a star from Oh Be Joyful. Also used here are the super big and delightful District Numbers Outline Jumbo stamps. Looooove these!
