As I’ve been working in my A6 daily journal, and traveling too, I decided to include the happenings of each of those traveling days within my journal so that I can create a book later with those words and with my plethora of photos. But I wanted to include a few more photos in my journal than the usual average of 1-2 photos for each day. I take a lot of photos when I finally get out of the house (haha) and so I love the idea of making a quick spread using a template where I can get several photos in.

Thus, Photo Templates: A6 was born.

The A6 size is almost of a 4×6″ photo. Technically it’s 4.1 x 5.8″. But to make things easy, these templates are sized as 4 x 5.8″ on a 4×6″ paper size in Photoshop/Elements.

So when I put this collage together, you can see that there is a little white space (.1″) at the top and bottom of the this technically 4×6 photo.

 

 

If you would like to make this a full 4×6 photo, you can scale it up to fit the page when it prints or scale the template before adding your photos like i’ve done here in this example below.

 

 

As you can see, the white border has very minimal ‘distortion’.

But another favorite thing of mine to do is scale down when I print so I can have a white border when I put it in my album. So if that’s the case, it doesn’t matter if it’s a true 4×6.

 

 

For the right side, I made a colored box and then put a text box with my typed journaling over it. I also used the digital Utah’s Mighty Five and Along Those Lines  to accent the page…making a little magazine style look.
