I think some of our hottest days of summer were last week…right when our yard was getting torn up and put back together. I felt so bad for the men out there working. Hubs provided an iced-up cooler with water and gatorade and even  took popsicles just to help in some small way. Luckily this week we are in the 80s. I very nice break from last week. Oy,

I think many of you have been experiencing unusually high temps this summer, including our very own Miss Julie…who lives in Arizona. Wow! The temps have been insane there! I’m sooooo digging the way she documented this week of temps in her planner using Solar Powered and Plain Pine XL. Perfection, I tell you!

 

 

The current temps here in Arizona are TOUGH for me so I wanted this week’s pages to reflect that. This new stamp release, Solar Powered, couldn’t have arrived at a better time. 👏🏻  I used the sunshine stamp to house the daily high temps (Plain Pine).

This  Pine XL  + Plain Pine XL combo makes such a bold statement. Love that they can mix and match or layer! Fun fact: I’m a scaredy-cat when it comes to stamping directly into my journal so I stamped all of the alphas onto clear sticker paper then was able to place (and re-place, ahem) as I wanted.
