Summer is winding down here in the northern hemisphere, but there’s still much sun to be had. I’m enjoying the slightly cooler temps–especially for mornings and evenings–myself. In the southern hemisphere spring is on the horizon and I’m sure that’s just happiness for people like team member, Sheree Forcier, who lives in Australia.

Speaking of sun and Sheree, she has a wonderful sunny spread for us today using this month’s  ‘sunny’ stamps. The border she made using the layered sun stamps is fantastic!

 

 

 

I’ve used the new Sun’s Out and Solar Powered stamp sets to create my traveler’s notebook spread about enjoying our winter sunshine by the beach.

I used the layering sun stamps from Sun’s Out and three shades of yellow ink to create the tag at the top of my first page.  I layered the “golden” stamp from Solar Powered and the “a happy sunny day” phrase stamp from Sun’s Out on top.  There are also two more phrase stamps from Solar Powered… one under the small square photo the other on my large photo page.

To create the strip across the bottom of my spread I used the layering sun stamps to make my own patterned paper which was so fun to do!
