This is my favorite month. And perhaps that might have something to do with my birthday in a couple weeks. But also, it’s when fall starts to creep into our days (yay!)…and that’s my favorite season.

In addition to all that goodness, the first of the month brings new stamps and boy do we have some fun ones!

 

 

The very first one I want to talk about is this unique Stanley alphabet because this is a one-time-only release for the 2023 Halloween season.

What does that mean, you ask?

It means essentially, this is a one-and-done release. If this release happens to sell out quickly, we will go to a preorder, but that’s it folks. This is a specialty item and only exists just for this release for this time of year and particularly for Halloween (but works great for Christmas too!). So if’n it tickles your fancy, now would be the time to pick it up.

There are so many letter combinations that you could create several variations for the same word. It is such a fun alphabet!

And you know what else looks great with it? The new Wicked Halloween stamp set! And to show off the magic of these two sets–especially when paired together, we have a fabulous surprise guest designer, who is a lover of all things Halloween.

Oh how I love how those bats turned out, if I do say so myself. ;)  Here’s a little serendipitous story.  As I was designing the bats and tweaking the ends of the wings, I accidentally pulled the wrong thing and it made the wing look more unique than I intended and I was like, hey, I like that! Funny how things happen like that. :)

Isn’t this tag from Ashley just fabulous? All that spooky goodness stamped out all together…sigh.

Here’s what Ashley has to say:

It’s the most wonderful time of the year…for me anyway! I love all things Halloween, especially fun Halloween stamp sets! And, I’m excited to be back with KBS this month as the September Guest Designer.

The new Stanley alpha stamp set is spooky good, and it’s perfect for creating titles on your projects. I used it to stamp out the title, This Is Halloween, with black and dark orange ink on an oversized tag. Then, I cut a slit at the top of my tag, so I could slide in a photo from last year’s Halloween photo shoot.

I also used the Wicked stamp set to bring in some extra stamping on my tag. I stamped some of the images directly onto the tag. Then I stamped the bats on a separate piece of paper so I could fussy cut them and add them to the tag for a bit of dimension.

Next up we have Simply Said, and me oh my, do I looove this one! I love having an assortment of phrases to have at the ready. Then put them into a box, in circle, or on lines, trim it and maybe attach it with a staple? Be still my heart. swoon!

 

 

And the final stamp set we have is Scripted. Once again I just adore the simplicity of this set.
