That’s right folks, it’s just about a month away. Have your kids changed their minds a hundred times on their costumes? You know they are thinking about it. ;)  I remember those days. Of course, many of the Halloween costumes in my days consisted of a plastic painted face with eyes and nose holes and an elastic band around it to hold it on your head. We’re talkin’ 70s, fyi. Now there are so many creative costumes people come up with…like this one from Sheree’s neck of the woods.

And I must say, Sheree has outdone herself using eleven stamps from the Wicked set. Wow! Absolutely fantastic! Or should I say wicked? ;)

And because I know you’re all wondering, we are still waiting for those preorders of Stanley and Wicked. I thought we’d have them by now because our manufacturer is usually pretty quick. Of course this would be the time for it to happen when they aren’t so quick. Oy. My guess is there’s a lot of Christmas orders going in to keep them busy.  Hopefully it won’t be much longer.

 

 

 

I was so excited to use the awesome Wicked stamp set to document our Halloween from last year and ended up using 11 stamps from this set to create my spread!

On my full-page photo I added the word “wicked” then added a stamped bat, which was adhered with foam tape to add some dimension.

On my second page I started at the top with the circular “October thirty-one” stamp and added the “happy halloween” stamp across the middle before cutting it out to adhere with foam tape.  I also added two more stamped bats to the right.

In the centre, I created a pocket for my journaling tag to sit in.  I stamped the large “trick or treat” stamp and cut it out to adhere onto the pocket with foam tape.  Another larger stamped bat was also added to the top left with foam tape.

At the bottom I used the fun text stamp which was the perfect width for the page.  I also added two more phrases from the stamp set and a tiny stamped bat to finish it off.
