Isn’t that a glorious feeling during the holidays? That sense of accomplishment when the decorating is done and perhaps, dare I say, even the wrapping? Definitely gives me the holiday cheer. You just want to kick up your feet, let out a sigh, and enjoy the magic.

Then you document this delightful scene in your album and that’s even more bliss. Just like this page from Miss Nancy. It’s absolutely magical how it all came together! Merry, indeed!

 

 

The December stories season has officially begun! And I’m in love with all the new stamp releases. I challenged myself on this one to use as many as I could to create a collage – five was the magic total! 

I started with the journaling spot using the new Holiday Headers stamp set. It works beautifully for creating a colorful, interesting spot to add words (or icon stamps).

I love the bold chunk in the Merry Squares stamp images. I started there with the bold snowflake and that anchored the whole design. I added the beautifully handwritten type in the Best Time of the Year stamp set just under the snowflake. I built with more and more stamped words from there.

 

 

To finish up the collage, I added “this holiday story” and “fa la la” from the Open Gift stamp set. And a gray snowflake from the Christmas Joys stamp set completes the right side.

On the left side, I created a simple tag with red and white cardstock and a beautiful title “Have yourself a merry little Christmas” from the Christmas Joys stamp set.

This was such a fun layered stamp project to make. Made perfectly beautiful with five new stamp sets from my favorite designer. Let the holiday projects begin!
