Okay, okay. I know it’s not Christmas time yet, but I never did document a wonderful overnight trip to downtown Salt Lake City (about a half hour north) to see the ‘Mormon Tabernacle Choir’ in concert. My husband has made the sets for these concerts over the years and therefore gets a couple tickets to go. Since the weather can be unpredictable here in Utah–and because we’d had a couple of bad nights of driving in snow storms already–we opted to stay in a hotel and enjoy some beautiful Christmas time in the city.

 

 

I used the brand new stamps Christmas Joys and Holiday Headers along with a photo template from Photo Templates: A6 to quickly pull this page together. Photo templates are seriously such an awesome tool to have in your arsenal!

 

 

My plan was to use my old Basic Grey notch maker to hold down that little flap that has my journaling, but for the life of me, I couldn’t find it. I’ll keep searching for it. ;)

 

 

What a lovely–and much needed–evening we had. Seeing the city in twinkle lights along with all that Christmas music was wonderful. And let’s not forget the delectable food at The Copper Onion. Yum!

We’ve had a few pretty bad holiday seasons over the last few years (caring for+losing parents…and a pet). And when I went to find these photos, I realized just how few festive things we did last year . I was so glad we had that opportunity to enjoy some of the Christmas season.
