…to prepare for Christmas. Whether it’s shopping or making, it’s just that much less you’ll have to do during the actual chaos of the season–especially when you’re doing it in a quieter time of the year. And I’m all for that!

So in the spirit of Christmas prepping, take a look at this bit of loveliness from Sheree! Oh. My goodness. These are gorgeous! And all that stitching? I swoon!

 

 

 

 

I love this time of year when I can start making pages for my December album…I love Christmas! 

Using the new Merry Squares, Take A Number XL and Best Time of Year stamps I’ve created a 6 x 8 inch page for my album that has little windows where I can add photos and journaling when I’m ready to document a story on that day. 

I chose some fun colours and stamped the images from Merry Squares and a number from Take A Number XL before piercing some holes and stitching around each one with matching embroidery floss.  I love the texture stitching brings to any project!  I chose to create windows with the star, tree and number images and adhered the others directly to the page. 

To finish, I used three phrases from Best Time of Year and added some gold stars.

For the “19” tag, I used the smaller numbers from Take A Number to stamp and stitch.  I used the dot stamp from Take A Number to create coloured baubles on the tree and finished off with another phrase from Best Time of Year.  I love how it turned out!
