Why do those three short little ‘words’ just make you feel all merry? And then you put them all colorfully on paper, like this spread by Nancy, and it has all the falala’s to make to make the documenting very merry, especially when bordered with the outlined words of Joyful Basics! This is so dang cute!

 

 

It’s time to tell all the December stories! I’m excited for this time of year and especially so with this new release of Christmas words. I wanted to create something bold and colorful to highlight all the beautiful text in the new Joyful Basics stamp set.

To start, I created the center piece with the “falala” from last year’s Joy stamp set in beautiful, bold color! To highlight, I used the Joyful Basics stamp set to create an outlined frame for the words in the center. I love how it creates a focal point to the layout. I used the star icon from that set to separate each word.

Gold brads finish the ends of the stamped title. The journaling was printed on clear label paper and placed just underneath with a paperclip embellishment I made.

On the left side, I used a stamp from last month’s release, Christmas Joys to add text to the label. I had so much fun creating with the new stamp release. It’s perfect for all of your December stories!
