Eight days in already. Can you believe that? I finally took the rest of my Christmas stuff down yesterday. Whew. Feels good! Next stop, my studio space. It needs a good cleaning (always--haha). Why is it that January, in particular, always gets in the let’s-get-organized mode? I guess it’s a good thing, ya?

It seems Nancy has got some plans going on for her new year and has laid them all out as a visual reminder using so many Happy New Year stamps. This is such a fantastic idea!

Speaking of the Happy New Year stamps, I wanted to let you know that since this is more of a seasonal stamp it most likely will not be ordered again until late in the year…which will then be its final hurrah since…well…it will be ‘outdated’ after 2025. ;)

Happy 2024! It’s time for new beginnings, goals, hopes and dreams. I’m easing into the new year with this traveler’s notebook page with little notes about what’s coming up for our family. The minute I saw the New Year stamp set, I knew I wanted to use every single delicious sentiment, or at least try. 

I ended up using 13 different sentiments on this spread and I love that the stamps words really stand out in contrast to all the bursts of color. On this side of the spread, I started with the title and worked my way down from there. Sprinkling stamped words throughout the blocks of journaling to create borders. 

Stamps like this Happy New Year one, are ones I reach for over and over again. Especially when I’m designing grids. The different fonts and sizes are what makes this one special. My favorite is the script up at the top “to new stories unfolding” – yes indeed!
