Oh my goodness. I’m so excited to see March! It’s a marvelous time when you start seeing hints of spring. I swear the willow tree across the way has a hue of green in it. Not to mention the leave buds on our rose bush are growing ever so slightly. It’s just a thrill to see life reemerging.

And with all that newness, we have some more new things in the way of KBS stamps. This spring month we have a fun+playful alphabet with Millie and Millie XL. We have something for anyone planning a spring break trip with Planet Earth. And then we’ve had one that I’ve had 2/3 done for two years, created with card-making in mind, called Vines+Lines. And yes, I know I did Frames+Phrases last month, but if the other had come out when it was supposed to, it wouldn’t have been as noticeable. haha

 

 

So let’s take a look at Vines+Lines then. I loved the idea of making a stamp set that could be used for a variety of things, including making cards.

 

 

Send a sweet sentiment or just use them for documenting. Leafy things are always a good idea.

I am soooo happy that this is finally done! I only needed to draw maybe three or four more leafy things the past two years, but every time it came to do it, I’d just cringe. The time it takes to hand draw images is much more than making stamps with text. ;) I can’t just get in and draw one straight away…I have to warm up and draw them several times. It’s time consuming and life was already time-cosnumed. haha But this is how the Savannah stamps came to be. I love the simplicity of this font and those words.

Next up is Planet Earth.

 

 

I’m a huge fan of all there is to see on this planet earth, so this stamp set seemed to be appropriate. I grew up daydreaming of travel (in the 70s) with this atlas you see here. It belonged to my grandparents. So my wanderlust to see planet earth is definitely a part of my soul.

Last, but not least, is Millie and Millie XL. Yes, this is named after my granddaughter who is playful and sweet and a little sassy too.

 

 

The fun part of this alphabet is that there are many ‘duplicate’ letters but they aren’t duplicated. That means, you’re getting two different looks on that alphabet to make your title look even more like you might have handwritten it. Love that!

This font does have some distressing to it, but I don’t know that it truly translates to a stamp. In other words, you may or may not see it. ;)
