It’s in my DNA, I think. I blame my mother. ;) Fun memories of going from the west coast of Oregon to Idaho in summer. Even just an overnight to St. George to climb the red rocks of Snow Canyon…40+ years ago. It’s who I am. I love being in so many places on this planet earth. Hence, the need for such a theme on stamps.

And look at what Nancy has created with it! And at one of our favorite places too. Kauai. sigh. This page has been put together brilliantly. All the stamps in a list to add as a bit of journaling? perfect.

 

The new March Planet Earth stamp set  is a captivating collection designed to celebrate the beauty of all things travel. My favorite image is the world map, so I decided to stamp it front and center and build my page around it.  I created the ombre effect just by stamping the bottom half of the image in a sky blue color and the top in turquoise. I just overlapped the inks and created this beautifully shaded image.

I couldn’t decide which travel phrase I loved the best, so I used my top five favorites to create the colorful strips just below the map. I think of them as my travel bullet points from this trip. I added a small photo of the lazy river pool and some journaling to finish off this traveler’s notebook page. 

On the left I kept it simple with just an initial and one more stamped phrase on a label. I couldn’t resist! I love all of the different fonts and sizes in the Planet Earth stamp set. It’s one I plan to have out on my desk all spring and summer long!
