They say a photo speaks a thousand words…but I think words can speak a thousand words too. (And you all know what a ‘word’ girl I am. :) ) Case in point: this fabulous page with all the words and numbers and design and even hand-written journaling. This all says so much more than what’s shown on paper. What an awesome way to document a day, Miss Julie!

 

 

In the past, I’ve placed a lot of rules around scrapbooking, but I’m loosening up these days and have decided any effort at memory keeping counts. If I don’t have a perfectly edited photo? Guess what? Words count, too. Feel like my day to day life isn’t exciting enough to document? That’s part of my history, too!

As we celebrate NSD, I know that this project doesn’t scream “scrapbooking”, but I hope it encourages you to lighten up the rules around this hobby and to record some memories in whatever format works for you.
