Salt water…whether you want to be in it or just near it to watch+hear the waves and enjoy the peace and tranquility, it’s good for the soul.

And so are wonderful projects like this from Sheree. She has a classic and timeless feel and I love the way she blocks out her elements! The stitching is always the icing on top. Isn’t this just fabulous?

 

 

I loved working with the awesome Salt Water Soul stamp set, which was just perfect for this TN spread of my husband and son’s beach fishing day!

To create the title tag I combined the “salt water”,  wavy lines and the “seaside escape” stamps stacked on top of each other and I love how this looks.

I added the “beach therapy” stamp underneath the tag and chose the fun school of fish stamp for under the journaling.

I laughed when I saw the phrase “happier than a seagull with a French fry” as it sums up the photo so perfectly!  There couldn’t have been a better way to finish off this spread.
