Fourteen years. This little business of mine has been going for fourteen years.

wow.

Where has the time gone?

So much has happened during those years. Changes personally. Changes in the business. Changes in how I document. Changes in technology. Changes in the shop on the backend and in product. Who remembers when I used to email (primarily) Silhouette design orders? Those were the days, eh? And now, the ability to have a shop of your own has come a long way. Thank heavens. ;)  Who knew that I could create the majority of my own website? The internet is so resourceful these days, not to mention access to YouTube videos. And luckily I’ve had good ‘backend-backend’ help when I need it. I am not a programmer. haha That being said, I do understand a tiny bit of coding. But programs and places like Shopify have just come a long way to help one get started in an online business. I won’t tell you how much I paid for someone to build my first site eleven years ago. (gasp!)

It’s so weird to think about how this all started and what it’s become over these fourteen years…and I wonder if it’s something I’ll ever retire from. That being said, I really can’t imagine doing this when I’m 70…which is about 12 years away, mind you. haha Even 65 seems weird to me.

But I digress… :)
