(psssst. don’t forget, today is the last day of our big birthday sale!)

Sometimes, you just have more to say on a page but you just don’t want to make another page. Adding pockets and inserts like Nancy has done gives you a little more real estate without taking up real estate.

Just loving everything about this spread! The titles, the interactive elements, the…everything. Nancy always knocks it out of the park with everything she does. sigh.

Staycation photos are always so much fun to document in traveler’s notebooks. Add a few good bold titles and you have a beautiful layout!  A good title provides a great foundation for design and so that is where I started. The new Wordplay: Travel Edition  stamp has so many great ones to choose from!

I started with the very large, bold “You Are Here” to anchor the page. Just underneath I stamped “A Place with Endless Memories” to underline the main title and add some contrast.

I cut this small file folder out by hand and added a favorite photo. I stamped “Good Times Were Had” also from Wordplay: Travel Edition,  just alongside it to frame it out. Underneath is a little bit of journaling and a puffy geotag to add a punch of color. On the tab portion I used the “Look Inside” sentiment from the Open This stamp set. The navy blue patterned paper here is actually a pocket and the file folder slide just inside. It’s a great way to add more photos to traveler’s notebooks.

On the left side, I created a flip up tag booklet. I started by creating the cover of the tag with a large photo and a very simple stamped “Streets: Quiet/Busy” checkbox just underneath. This is from the Far From Home stamp set. I kept it simple since the background paper is quite busy.

On the inside of the tag live three more photos. The stamping of “Somewhere, Anywhere, Everywhere, Nowhere” from the Planet Earth stamp set adds just enough text and interest to the design without overwhelming it.

Who says you can’t tell a complete story in one traveler’s notebook page? There are 5 photos on this one telling the complete story of our segway adventure in Philadelphia. Three stamp sets were used to design a clean, colorful layout all centered around the new release Wordplay: Travel Edition!
