…is a good one! Nancy worked her holiday magic into this ah-maaazing spread using the new Christmas stamps. And turning that Christmas countdown stamp in to a ‘calendar’? Oh my freakin’ heck. This little spread is what’s known as perfection.

 

 

The December Stories season is almost here! And I’m in love with all the new stamp releases. I challenged myself on this one to use as many as I could to create a collage – 8 stamps from 3 sets was the magic total! 

I started with the title “This Holiday Story” from the Wordplay: Christmas Edition set in a bold red ink. Just underneath, I stamped the reindeer names from the Merry Little Christmas set. It makes the perfect border with just a little bit of text. I added journaling up at the top right with clear label paper.

 

 

Creating the holiday ticket right in the center with the Holiday Highlights makes for a great journaling spot. I used the “may your days be merry and bright” in a perfectly sized square from the same stamp set. I added a flat brad and chipboard embellishment for a pop of color.

Next, I created a banner with the date stamp from the Holiday Highlights stamp set. The wood pieces are actually matchsticks with the heads snipped off. A small piece of twine creates a hanger and gives it a finished look. On the bottom left of the page, I stamped “I’m dreaming of…” from the Merry Little Christmas stamp set. It’s the perfect ending for this story.
