You can’t help but marvel at that moment when it all comes together. A little bit of this with a little bit of that and you have a day documented beautifully. All the stamping Nancy has done here is simply ‘chef’s kiss’.  And that date? fab-u-lous!

Creative journaling combines some of my favorite things about memory keeping. It’s where stories, photos and stamping come together beautifully. I used three different stamp sets to create a date cluster and titles all around the journal page.

I started in the upper left hand corner with the date. I used the new Just Another Day set to stamp the playfully bold “Sunday”.  I used the Madeleine Double Digits to stamp the day in green ink and the Through the Years set to stamp the year just underneath. To tie the entire date cluster together I stamped the large month and day circle from the Time Will Tell stamp set in a lighter gray ink. I love how the Just Another Day “Sunday” really stands out here. In the upper right hand corner, I used the new Happy Together stamp set next to the spoon sticker to add a stacked, underlined title in a light gray ink. In the center of the layout I used the Wordplay: Fall Edition to stamp “The Colors are Changing Around Me” in blue ink to divide the top and bottom halves of the journal. I love this bold, italic font!

The bottom right title is bold and beautiful! I created this layered title starting with the new Wordplay: Fall Edition “Fall Mood” stamp. I love how it sets the mood for the entire page. Next, I layered the sunflower from the Happy Together stamp set in gray ink just at the end of the title. Up at the top, in a pale green ink I stamped a smaller subtitle “file under GRATEFUL” to tie all of it together.
I love how eclectic and versatile the new November stamp sets are! I was able to put three of them to work on this one page. I’ll be reaching for these over and over again all season long!
