We live about 35 miles south of downtown Salt Lake City and don’t go up there very often–like once a year? Maaaybe twice? And when we do go, there’s an agenda, so there’s not much looking around. I’ve spent so much time enjoying and photographing other cities and I figured it was time to spend some time in the one in my own backyard.  And this past Thursday I was in desperate need of getting out of the house and convinced my husband we should go walk around a bit…with breakfast at Marmalade Brunch House first, of course. ;)

 

 

This excursion was just so delightful. It was just what I needed. I didn’t even get to explore that much, but it was enough to quench my thirst for some photographic creativity–as seen here using a template from the Photo Templates: A6 kit. Now I’m counting down to when I can go again. :)
