When I made all the date stamps for this month’s release, I thought they would be so fun to use together in such a variety of ways. And lo and behold, wouldn’t ya know it…Nancy has knocked it out of the park again with her winning date combo! They all look so fabulous together! And this may sound strange, but one of my favorite parts on this spread is the simple little ‘001″ at the top. It didn’t occur to me to use them as a page number like that and now…that’s my favorite thing. :)

But look close at this spread because she made such good use of all the sets. And that monthly grid? Oh my! This is why I love stamps. It’s the never-ending embellishment.

A new year, a new way to add time to all of your memory keeping projects! This is the stamp release that I look forward to the most because I know these are the sets that I will reach for again and again all year long. Pair that with my favorite way to add text (monograms!), and you have everything you need for 2025.

I started this page with the large “J” for January in pale green from the new Monograms stamp set. It was my anchoring design element. Next, I stamped the months of the year from the This Is A Date stamp set just on top of the J in black. I love the versatility of this stamp set. I used it again to stamp the ledger (and all of the text inside) just under the letter J. The bold “01” was added using the Time Squared stamp set. Last, is the small calendar in gray and black ink stamped with the brilliance that is the Never Ending Calendar. I love that I have all the combinations I need for the entire year in perpetuity. I’m a Monday start calendar girl, so this makes my heart happy!

This page is about January – the month of new starts. I paired the stamped page with a large winter photo of my son and I sledding. I created a tag out of the photo and layered it on speckled netting, white handmade paper and cool toned patterned paper.

The story is about our plans for the upcoming year so I thought it would be fun to create a color coded calendar of sorts. I used the Time Squared stamp set to create this colorful grid. Using a stamp press to line up the squares and filled them with circles punched from colored cardstock. It adds a bold, stamped embellishment and a bit of story. 
All of these stamps will stay on my desk this year and when I need a date or a beautiful monogram, I’ll have just the right thing.
