Documenting memories often start with a blank canvas. Have you ever considered filling your canvas with stamps and photos only? Imagine what you could create with those ‘never-ending embellishments.’ Well, I guess you really don’t have to imagine anymore with this amazing spread from Miss Nancy.

Can we get a collective, ‘wow!’ ?

This is just gorgeous! And almost everything on it is stamped. Take a look at the right page in particular. With the exception of the ‘Color Catalog’ and a handwritten name, they are all (KBS) stamps. And check out the flower from Springtime Vibes. I never would have thought to double that puppy up and make a bold flower like that. Genius, I tell ya.

 

 

I have always been in love with the idea of creating a nature field notes full of flowers. The minute I saw the new April stamps, I knew they would be perfect for this project. On the left I matted the focal point photo of the tulips with some scrap fabric in a beautiful floral print. This was the jumping off point for my color palette.

Just under the photo, I stamped the title from the Springtime Vibes stamp set. While my art journal has the box on the lower left pre-printed, you could use any of the grids from the Your Basic Label stamp set to create the same look.

 

 

I’m in love with this flower stamp from the Springtime Vibes set – the bold punch of color and shape are perfect just under the plant title from the same stamp set. At the bottom of the layout, I used the “moment” grid from the On the Inside stamp set to underline the entire design. I filled it with sentiments and the large number 4 from the Springtime Vibes set. On the lower right, I stamped “time flies when you’re having fun” with a leaf inside from the Your Basic Label stamp set. And at the very bottom, one of my favorite stamps from this year and my go to for adding page numbers – the No. and 003 from  This Is A Date stamp set.

This was such a fun stamped project to create. It’s amazing what  you can create with a blank page and a few beautiful stamp set!
