Woo-wee! What a day! Not only do we have brand new stamps, but we are celebrating fifteen years of KBS! How can it be fifteen years already? I remember my first month when I made $500 selling cut files. What a shock! I thought, ‘Holy cow. This might actually work.’ 

So much has changed over the years–both in business and technology. Who remembers when you would buy something via a PayPal button and then I emailed kits to you? I remember a few times when my internet was down and I’d go some place like the coffee shop at Borders where my daughter worked so I could get them sent. My delivery and websites have changed, my focus has changed (cut files to stamps), but my core business value remains the same…what can I make to help you document your life.

It’s so crazy how fast these fifteen years have flown by. I can’t imagine doing it another fifteen though. haha But then again, I can’t imagine not doing it either. I do turn 60 next year…which is also mind boggling. So who knows what the future holds. For now I’m just enjoying this lovely job while I can. I’ve been pretty blessed to be able to do this and to have you all be a part of the journey.

Next up, August stamps! We’ve got four new lovelies available. They are A Good Day, Street Stories, Sunshine and Sunshine XL.

It was spring when I was gathering these ideas together and all things sunshine was at the center of my life. I thought this font would make a fun summertime (or any time, really) alphabet. Using Sunshine XL here with Street Stories.

 

 

 

It’s funny how things come together. When first creating this alphabet a while back, I stacked the word California to see what it looked like. Then when it came time to make samples I was like, ‘Hey, I have California photos…and street ones at that too!’

It was meant to be. ;)

Oh, and I did not make that directional arrow to work with the Street Stories word. It just happened to work there. Another ‘meant to be’ moment. haha

 

 

And then we have A Good Day with phrases that encompass all about having a good day. The flowers here are my favorite. I just want to use them on everything!
